Winter is here and with our first snowstorm behind us it’s time to get out the winter jackets and boots. Below is one of my favorite pairs of snow boots paired with the same jacket. Hope you enjoy!
The details
The jacket: The jacket in the photo is made by Woolrich, a great brand for various types of jackets, but this particular one is a down coat. The jacket is water resistant, which is not only perfect for snow in the winter, but also those cold rainy spring days.
I am always cold, so one thing that is a must for me in my jackets is making sure they’re as warm as possible, and this jacket keeps me warm even on the coldest of winter days. It has a thick liner on the inside as well as another layer on the outside which is water resistant.
The details on this jacket are everything. From the functional zipper, buttons, and four pockets all the way to the golden colored fur hood. Everything about this jacket screams winter! What I especially love is its simple look, it isn’t really puffy but still just as warm if not warmer than a puffy jacket.
I mean what more could you want from a jacket!
The Boots: The boots in the photo are made by Vince Camuto. They are the absolute perfect shoes for a winter storm. They are super comfortable, durable, and stylish, and the grey fur not only makes these boots a statement piece, but also incredibly warm. The boots are very easy to slide on and off, with pull strings to tighten and loosen.
Along with these boots,Vince Camuto sells some really wonderful pieces, especially for the winter season.
Sometimes it can be hard to find really cute items that are also super functional, but with these boots, there is no need to worry. I have worn these boots in blizzards, after skiing, and in the cold rain, and they still look brand new. There is also a cool quilting design on the sides which makes these boots stand out even more from your average snow boots.
One helpful hint about these boots, is although they’re snow boots, if you are wearing them in the rain or get a lot of snow on the fur, let the boots dry over night so the fur doesn’t harden, and the next day your boots will look brand new.
These boots and jacket are two of my absolute favorite winter pieces to style and wear! Keep an eye out for a new blog post with a few more essential winter items!
